Rodin Products provides the steering wheel purchased from us with a voluntary 12-month warranty.
This warranty is an additional service from Rodin Products and exists independently of the customer’s statutory rights. It does not restrict statutory rights concerning defects.
What does the warranty cover?
The warranty covers material and workmanship defects in the steering wheel supplied or customised by Rodin Products.
This includes, for example, faults that can be shown to originate in the steering wheel itself or a component supplied or customised by us.
Warranty requirements
The warranty applies only if the customer can provide the following documents:
- Invoice from Rodin Products — proof that the steering wheel was purchased directly from Rodin Products.
- Workshop installation invoice — the steering wheel must have been professionally installed by a vehicle workshop.
Without both a Rodin Products invoice and a workshop invoice, there is no entitlement under this voluntary warranty.
What does the warranty not cover?
- Self-installation or installation without a workshop invoice
- Incorrect installation
- Damage caused by incorrect wiring, coding or adaptation
- Vehicle-side faults, such as clock spring, control unit, wiring harness or electrical problems
- Airbag, SRS or safety-related problems, unless demonstrably caused by the supplied steering wheel
- Normal wear, signs of use or deterioration
- Damage caused by accidents, force, moisture, incorrect care or external influences
- Modifications, repairs or reworking by third parties
Making a warranty claim
To make a warranty claim, contact Rodin Products and send the following:
- Rodin Products invoice
- Workshop installation invoice
- A brief description of the fault
- Photos or a video of the problem
- If available: a workshop diagnostic report or fault codes
Rodin Products will assess the claim. If it qualifies under the warranty, Rodin Products will decide on an appropriate solution at its discretion, such as repair, replacement or exchange of the affected component.
Important: This warranty is solely a voluntary warranty from Rodin Products. It is not a manufacturer’s warranty from BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Volkswagen, Porsche or any other vehicle manufacturer. Named brands and model designations are used only to describe compatibility.
